Implantation bleeding or Depo Provera side effect?

I had a Depo Provera injection about 10 years ago and I bled the entire time. I opted out of the next injection as I couldn't bear the thought of bleeding for all that time again. However, I know that my Dr. at the time suggested I have the next injection which might help regulate my hormones and stop the bleeding. The whole point of Depo is that you get a shot of hormones to stop you from falling pregnant and this sudden change in hormone levels can cause side effects such as bleeding and tender . Do a pregnancy test anyway just to make sure but your symptoms just sound like side effects. I hope this helps and good luck!
