Why does everyone insist we need playoffs in college football it solves nothing?

this year texas is going to complain that they deserve to get in now if there is an 8 team playoff that 9th team that is left out is gonna ***** now they make the bcs simple if you want in don't lose theres no easier way just win all of your games its that easy.
