Can I become a concert pianist?
I cannot criticize you for just plain not knowing what you DO NOT KNOW - but you are already incredibly far behind, and more than likely, cannot ever make this up. By 16, you should already be accomplished, and be winning serious, major competitions, NOT just your own school's or state's Solo and Ensemble ratings - which you did not mention either. From your telling if all this, you really do not know what you are facing, nor are you AT ALL prepared. You would in no way be ready to audition and be accepted at a TOP conservatory - which would be the MINIMUM amount of education you would need to even hope of working at all in clical music - and to say your technique is natural and near perfect is just incredibly, incredibly naive. Find the BEST teacher of piano you can - perhaps a fine teacher at a good college -and make an appointment to audition for their studio. This will really open your eyes. the path your are currently on leads NOWHERE - and you need to see and hear the path that others, who have a far better chance of success, are on. I judge hundreds of student pianists a year, for many years - and you're not even on the same playing field as any of them - sorry.
