Dell 1800fp power supply?

Im sure im not the only person out there that has had the power supply go out on this monitor(dell 1800fp)....I soon found that the only way to get another one,was to have yours refurbished...BLAH!!......I was looking at the back of the power supply and say where the wiring harness went out to the lcd part had small labels on the board itself next to the solder spots....these were paired up very nicely...(2) 5v..(2)grounds...(2) 12v...(2) grounds.......I then took the small wiring harness and cut off the plastic plug-in,then paired the 5v's the grounds and the 12v's....and that made 4 paired wires that i easily attached to a old 4-pin molex adaptor which then plugged into one of the extra molex connectors from my computers power supply............then pushed the power on on the monitor and BINGO....monitor turned right on..no problems what-so-ever!!!...........I must admit it was very easy to wire-up and it even eliminated a power cord!!!.......have any questions...just ask!!
