What is going to happen during the Rapture of May 21st?

How exactly does it work? Is this all a hoax for money for that dumb a$$ religious leader or something. If it's real, why has nothing happened yet. Is there going to be a famine, natural disasters or extra terrestrial invasion? I'm soo confused?
