Does he still like me?!?

to keep a long story short, a guy on my school ice hockey team (aka my senior crush) asked me out almost two weeks ago. i caught him staring at me and we pretty much locked eyes numerous times. he also had his hands on my hips to teach me how to shoot, leaned in whenever we talked, etc. he wanted to take me to stick and puck the next day, but it never happened cause one, he kind of forgot to get my number, and two, i was going to a concert that day, so we didn't get to hang out at all. i sent him my number, he sent me his, and i texted him yesterday and he didn't know who i was until i told him, so obviously he didn't immediately put my number in his phone. we only had a brief cute conversation. i saw him in school (finally, since i never see him) and he seemed kind of shy but I texted him later being like "i saw you today hahah" and he never responded. tomorrow i have practice and i want to talk to him and hint at him taking me to homecoming but i don't know what to do, cause i'm not sure if he even still likes me anymore?
